At that time, this remarkable spacecraft was situated approximately 2.7 million kilometers (1.7 million miles) away from the planet. The C-ring material appears rather monotonous and grayish in color - resembling dirty ice. However, intriguing variations in hue between this ring and its neighboring B-ring indicate diverse surface compositions within these intricate structures.
