John Mytton, a renowned eccentric and avid fox hunter, finds himself in a precarious position during a chase. The year is 1820s, and Mytton, dressed in the traditional hunting attire, is shown taking a tumble near a squire-trap. John Mytton, born in 1796, was a larger-than-life figure in English society.
