It is located in the garden behind the villa. The Nymphaeum is a structure of classical ispiration as it was a feature in ancient Roman gardens. This arching structure partially surrounds a natural spring within a pool. In the wall there are ten niches with statues and four nearly free-standing figures carved by the 16th century Italian Mannerist sculptor Alessandro Vittoria and perhaps by Marcantonio Barbaro (owner of the villa).
