Man Behind the Midnight Cowboy

James Leo Herlihy, the man who wrote the novel that was made into the movie Midnight Cowboy, stands net to his statue of Tallulah Bankhead which dominates his East Greenwich Village apartment. The statue, which was done by an English artist in 1927, was given to Herlihy by Miss Bankhead when they were fast friends. As for keeping other women in his apartment for long periods of tie, Herlihy says, No, I'm not married and I'm not gonna get married. If I ever got married, I'd marry several people at once. Unleash your creativity and transform your space into a visual masterpiece.
