In this lithograph, we are transported to the ancient world of British mythology and witness a pivotal moment in the heroic tale of Beowulf. The print depicts "The Death of Beowulf" an iconic scene from M. I. Ebbutt's renowned book, Hero Myths and Legends of the British Race. At its center lies the lifeless body of Beowulf, a legendary warrior who valiantly fought against a ferocious dragon.
