To the right is an empty keel being rowed with a single oar at the rear of the boat. On the left of the picture are two keels equipped with cranes. Along the river frontage, many old buildings still remain at this date. The thin washes of blue that originally coloured the sky and water are particularly susceptible to fading, and have mostly disappeared from the picture.
