In this iconic photograph captured by Paul Currie of Action Images, David Weir etches his name into Everton Football Club's history books with his first goal for the Toffees in a Premier League match against Bolton Wanderers on October 22,2006. The Scottish defender, who had joined Everton the previous summer, was a towering presence at the back and was known for his excellent organizational skills and leadership qualities.
