Dr Syn by Russell Thorndike and Ivan Firth
Dr Syn by Russell Thorndike (6 February 1885 7 November 1972) and Ivan Firth, adapted from Thorndikes novel. First produced at the Wyndhams Theatre on 11th October 1925. Thorndike, like his better known sister, Sybil, was an actor, and he also starred in this play about smugglers on the South coast in the eighteenth century. Touring to the Grand Theatre in Swansea, on 31st March 1927. The artist is Charles Buchel ) . Date: 1927
