Arsenal footballer Alex James passes three Manchester City players, c1929-c1937. An inside forward renowned for his ball control and passing, Alex James (1901-1953) is regarded as one of the greatest players in Arsenal's history. He made 236 appearances for the club between 1929 and 1937, scoring 26 goals. He also won 8 caps for Scotland.
