Daughter of famous conductor married at St Georges, Hanover Square. Medieval wedding gown.
Miss Biddy Pitt, daughter of Mrs Percy Pitt and the late Mr Percy Pitt, the musical director, married Mr Cyril Cresswell-Hughes of Birmingham at St George's Church, Hanover Square. The bride's father was well known as conductor at Covent Garden and the BBC. The bride wore a medieval wedding gown designed by Frances Day, the actress, who is one of Mrs Pitt's pupils for singing. Among the bridesmaids was the six-year-old daughter of Teddie St Denis, the musical comedy actor.
