Dramatic Rail Accident at Gare Montparnasse, France
At the Montparnasse terminus of the Chemin de Fer de l'Ouest, the Granville train crashes through the buffers and into the street (Rue de Rennes), killing a poor woman selling newspapers (Marie-Augustine Aguilard) - Tuesday, 22nd October 1895 at 4:05 in the afternoon. The Driver was Guillaume-Marie Pellerin. Date: 1895
