Elizabeth, also known as Elizaveta or Elisabeth, ruled Russia from 1741 until her own demise in 1762. Elizabeth's reign was marked by significant cultural and political transformations. She was an ardent patron of the arts, fostering a flourishing literary and artistic scene in Russia. Her court was graced by the presence of renowned artists, musicians, and writers, including the famous Russian poet, Gavrila Derzhavin. Elizabeth's regal attire in this print reflects the opulence and grandeur of the Russian court during her reign.
