This photograph captures the esteemed French actor, Constant Coquelin (Aine), as he portrays the legendary Napoleon Bonaparte in the 1909 production of "Plus que reine" (More Than a Queen). At the age of 60, Coquelin brought an unparalleled depth and gravitas to his portrayal of the iconic military and political leader. Born in Paris in 1841, Coquelin began his acting career in the late 1860s and quickly rose to prominence for his versatility and ability to embody various characters.
