Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. This photograph captures the iconic figure of Colonel William Frederick Cody, better known as Buffalo Bill, at the height of his fame. Taken by the renowned photographer Felix Potin in 1917, the image shows Cody in his element, seated confidently on his horse with a brimmed hat shading his weathered face and a wide, bushy beard adorning his chin. Born in Iowa in 1846, Cody rose to prominence as a scout for the US Army during the Indian Wars. His exploits earned him the nickname "Buffalo Bill" after he reportedly killed 4,280 bison in a single day during the Great Plains buffalo hunts.
