Great photo capturing the excitement and nostalgia of the HRDC Dunlop Allstars and HRDCC Classic Alfa Challenge event held at the iconic Silverstone Grand Prix Motor Circuit in Towcester, Northamptonshire, England, during October 2022. The image features Alex Hurst skillfully maneuvering his Triumph TR4 through a wet and damp track during the pre-1966 GT grid race. The event showcased two distinct grids, with the Allstars results divided into three classes: GT for under 2500cc pre-66 GTs, GTA for over 2500cc pre-66 GTs, and TC for pre-66 Touring Cars. Additionally, the HRDCC Classic Alfa Challenge featured 116 Alfa Romeos competing in a 30-minute single driver race, divided into three classes: CORSA for full racing specification, MONZA for historic cars, and NORD for production cars. The event was held under the auspices of the Historic Racing Drivers Club and Motor Racing Legends. The Triumph TR4, an iconic classic racing car, is seen here leaving a spray of water behind as it accelerates through the turns.
