16th October 2022, Silverstone, Northamptonshire, England: The roar of engines echoed through the picturesque countryside as the Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC) Silverstone Finals got underway. Amongst the grid of classic racing cars, the distinctive livery of the Ford Lotus Cortina driven by David Hall stood out. The HSCC Historic Touring Car Championship with Ecurie Classic saw several classifications combined into one race, creating a thrilling spectacle for motorsport enthusiasts. The 20-minute race featured a wide range of engine capacities, from the nimble four-pot engines below 1150cc to the mighty multi-litre V8s.
