Amidst the drizzle and dull weather at Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, England, on the 17th of February 2024, the Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) kicked off their season with the prestigious Pomeroy Trophy event. This historic motor racing competition, which first ran in 1952, showcased an array of iconic cars from various eras and types. Among the participants was the Morris Mini Cooper S driven by the skillful Andy Newbound. The Pomeroy Trophy consisted of a series of four auto-tests followed by forty minutes of racing on the full Grand Prix circuit.
