Action and excitement at the Snetterton Classic! David Margalies takes to the track in his stunning Alfa Romeo GTV6 as part of the HRDC 'Gerry Marshall' Trophy Series. The Motor Racing Legends event saw a thrilling 45-minute race for pre-1983 Touring Cars, split into four classes according to engine capacity, plus a special invitation-only class for Production Touring Cars. Margalies and his trusty GTV6 put on an impressive show as they navigated the Snetterton 300 circuit in Norfolk. With the option of having a second driver join them for part or all of the race, drivers had to be strategic about when to make their pit stops and how much fuel to conserve. The atmosphere was electric at this year's Snetterton Classic on June 30th, with enthusiasts from across the UK gathering to cheer on their favorite tin tops. The event saw a mix of Group 1 and Group 1½ Touring Cars taking part, including some beautiful examples of pre-80s motorsport machinery.
