Born in 1860 as the eldest daughter of Emperor Frederick III and Empress Victoria of Germany, Charlotte was a grandchild of the renowned Queen Victoria. In 1878, she married Prince Georg II of Saxe-Meiningen, marking the start of her new life as a duchess. The sepia-toned photograph, taken in the late 19th century, showcases the princess's regal bearing and striking features.
