Great memories were made on a cold and rainy night at Brunton Park on Tuesday 1st December 2015, as Preston North End's Academy took on Carlisle United in the FA Youth Cup Third Round. The atmosphere was electric as both sets of young players gave their all in front of a passionate crowd. In this photograph, taken by the talented Dave Kendall during the 2015/16 season, we see the intensity and determination on the faces of the Preston North End players as they battle for possession in midfield. The rain-soaked pitch adds to the sense of drama, with the floodlights casting long shadows over the scene.
