EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photo print, we are transported back to the golden era of motorcycle racing, where legends were born and champions reigned supreme. Pictured here is a remarkable Celtic Honda CR93, a machine that carries with it an illustrious championship pedigree. Originally purchased by the talented John Kiddie in 1965, this awe-inspiring Honda would become his trusted steed throughout numerous Scottish Championships and an astounding ten TT victories. With each race won, the bond between rider and bike grew stronger, forging a legacy that would be remembered for generations to come. However, as all great stories go, there comes a time when one chapter ends and another begins. In 1967, Kiddie made the difficult decision to part ways with his beloved Honda. Enter Irishman Courtney Junk - a man hungry for success and eager to continue the winning tradition set forth by its previous owner. Under Junk's skillful command, this magnificent machine continued its triumphant journey across Ireland's racetracks. It effortlessly claimed victory after victory while securing countless Irish titles along the way. The spirit of competition burned brightly within both rider and bike as they etched their names into history together. This extraordinary photograph serves as a testament to not only the incredible performance capabilities of this Celtic Honda but also to the unwavering dedication of two exceptional riders who pushed boundaries beyond imagination. Their achievements on this iconic motorcycle will forever remain etched in our memories as symbols of triumph against all odds.
