John George Wood is an artist and curator based in London. He has been creating art since the early 2000s, focusing on painting and mixed media works. His work often explores themes of identity, memory, and culture. He has exhibited in numerous group shows around the world including at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, The National Museum of Art in Tokyo, and The Saatchi Gallery in London. He also curates exhibitions for galleries such as Tate Modern and Whitechapel Gallery. His work has been featured in publications such as Art Monthly Magazine, Frieze Magazine, and The Guardian newspaper. In addition to his artistic practice he also teaches at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design where he runs a course on contemporary art practices.
