Portuguese School of Arts is a school dedicated to teaching the arts of Portugal. It offers classes in painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, and other art forms. The school was founded by artist and teacher Paulo Pires in 2002 and is located in Lisbon. The school has a strong emphasis on traditional Portuguese art forms such as azulejos (painted tiles), lusitano (traditional Portuguese pottery), and alfaias (traditional musical instruments). Students learn about the history of Portuguese art as well as how to create their own works of art.
