John Mather is an artist and arts educator based in the United Kingdom. He has been creating artwork for over 25 years, and his work has been exhibited in galleries around the world. His art practice focuses on exploring the relationship between people and their environment, with a particular emphasis on urban landscapes. He also works with a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and installation. As an educator he has taught at numerous institutions including the Royal College of Art in London and Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. In addition to teaching he also runs workshops for adults and children that focus on creative exploration through art-making activities. John Mather is passionate about inspiring others to explore their creativity through art-making practices that are accessible to all levels of ability.
