Samuel Lane is an artist and arts educator who has been working in the field of visual arts for over 20 years. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master's degree in Art Education from the University of South Florida. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, including those at the Smithsonian Institution, The Corcoran Gallery of Art, and The National Portrait Gallery. He currently works as an independent artist and educator, teaching classes on painting, drawing, sculpting, printmaking, photography and art history. He also serves as a mentor to aspiring artists through his organization which provides resources to help them develop their skills and reach their goals.
