Richard Collins is an artist and arts educator who has been working in the field of visual arts for over 30 years. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of South Florida. His work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums across the United States, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. He is also an active member of several professional organizations, such as The National Association for Education in the Visual Arts (NAEVA) and The International Association for Visual Culture (IAVC). Richard Collins is passionate about teaching art to students from all backgrounds, believing that everyone should have access to creative expression. He currently teaches at a variety of institutions throughout North Carolina, including Wake Forest University and Duke University.
