Abraham Brueghel Collection

Abraham Brueghel (1631-1690) was a Flemish painter of the Baroque period. He was born in Antwerp, the son of Jan Brueghel the Elder and Anna van Hulst. His father was a renowned painter and his uncle, Ambrosius Brueghel, also had an influence on Abraham's artistic development. Abraham's work is characterized by its vivid colors and attention to detail. He often painted landscapes with figures in them, as well as still lifes featuring flowers and insects. He also created several religious works for churches in Antwerp. Abraham's style was highly influenced by his father's work, but he developed his own unique style over time that set him apart from other painters of the period. His works can be found in many museums around Europe today including The Louvre in Paris and The Prado Museum in Madrid.
