The album was certified double platinum in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. His second album Electric Light was released in 2018 and featured singles such as "Us" and "Wild Love". Bayes has also collaborated with artists such as Alicia Keys on her song "Blended Family (What You Do For Love)". His music is a mix of folk-rock with soulful vocals that have earned him critical acclaim.
