Royal Navy Photographers Recognised for Picture Perfect Shots
Pictured is Commando MAOT (Mobile Air Operations Team) receiving an Under Slung Load (USL) from a Merlin Mk3 helicopter of 845 Naval Air Squadron (NAS), at Norway during Exercise Clockwork.
Based at Royal Naval Air Station (RNAS) Yeovilton, Somerset, Commando MAOT recce HLS (Helicopter Landing Site) delivering the capability to Brigade for infiltration and exfiltration of helicopter assault troops, also providing casualty extractions.
845 NAS have deployed to Norway to conduct essential Arctic environmental qualification training for both Aircrew and Engineers.
