Chimpanzee Collection

Chimpanzees are one of the most intelligent and social animals in the world, and are members of the ape family, and live in groups of up to 150 individuals. Chimpanzees have a complex communication system that includes facial expressions, vocalizations, body language, and even sign language. They use tools to forage for food such as sticks or rocks to crack open nuts or termite mounds. Chimpanzees also have an impressive memory; they can remember where certain food sources are located and how to access them. In addition, chimpanzees show empathy towards one another by comforting each other when distressed or injured. The conservation status of chimpanzees is endangered due to habitat destruction and illegal hunting for bushmeat or pet trade purposes.
