Ferox Collection

Ferox are a family of mammals found in the Mediterranean region, North Africa, and parts of Asia, and are characterized by their large size and muscular body. They have short legs, long ears, and a short tail, and are typically gray or brown in color with white patches on their faces and backs. Ferox feed mainly on small mammals such as rodents but will also eat insects, lizards, birds, eggs and carrion when available. They live in burrows or caves that they dig themselves or use abandoned ones from other animals, and are be found alone or in small groups of up to 10 individuals, and are active during the day but will rest at night when temperatures drop too low for them to be active outside their burrows. Ferox play an important role in controlling rodent populations which helps maintain healthy ecosystems across their range of habitats.
