Exmoor Collection

Exmoor is a breed of horse native to the British Isles, and is one of the oldest and purest breeds in Britain, having been bred for hundreds of years in the Exmoor region of Devon and Somerset. The breed is known for its hardiness, agility, and sure-footedness on rough terrain, and are small but strong horses, standing between 13-14 hands high. They have a thick coat that can range from dark brown to black or grey with white markings on their face and legs and are known for their intelligence and willingness to please their owners. Exmoors make excellent riding horses as well as show horses due to their good temperaments, strength, agility and sure-footedness on difficult terrain and are used in many disciplines such as dressage, eventing, show jumping and driving competitions.
