Snow Leopard Collection

The snow leopard is a large, powerful cat native to the mountains of Central and South Asia and has thick fur that ranges from smoky gray to creamy white in color, with dark spots on its body. The snow leopard is an excellent climber and can leap up to 15 feet in the air. Its diet consists mainly of wild sheep and goats, but it will also hunt smaller animals such as marmots and hares, and are solitary animals, living alone or in small groups of two or three individuals, and are threatened by habitat loss due to human activity, poaching for their fur and bones, and competition with livestock for food resources. Conservation efforts have been put into place in order to protect this species from extinction.
