White Garden Snail Collection

White Garden Snail (Helix aspersa) is a species of land snail that is native to Europe and parts of Asia and has been introduced to many other countries, including North America, Australia, and New Zealand. The shell is usually brown or gray in color with yellowish-brown stripes and has an average size of 25 mm in diameter and can reach up to 40 mm in length. White Garden Snail feeds on plants, fruits, vegetables, fungi and decaying matter, and are hermaphrodites which means they have both male and female reproductive organs allowing them to reproduce without the need for a mate. They lay eggs in clusters of up to 80 eggs at a time which hatch within 2-4 weeks depending on the temperature and humidity levels and can be beneficial as they help aerate soil but can also become pests when they feed on crops or garden plants.
