Grass Sharpshooter Collection

Grass Sharpshooters are small, sap-sucking insects that feed on the leaves and stems of grasses. They have a long, slender body and two pairs of wings and can be found in many parts of the world, including North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. The adults are usually green or brown in color with yellowish markings on their wings. Grass Sharpshooters lay eggs on the underside of grass blades which hatch into nymphs that feed on plant sap for several weeks before becoming adults. These insects can cause significant damage to crops such as corn, wheat and rice by sucking out large amounts of plant sap from their host plants. In addition to crop damage they may also spread diseases such as leaf rust or powdery mildew which can further reduce crop yields.
