Featherwork tabbard depicting a combination of a tumi knife in the shape of a crescent, two bicephalic dragons and radiant sun faces. The dragons were considered to be symbols of rain and storms. Only the elite in Peruvian society were permitted to wear the most opulent and resplented objects. The use of feathers in objects were believed to possess magical powers. Country of Origin: Peru.
