Cliffs of North Shore, Lake Superior, Minnesota, USA

Split Rock Lighthouse is a lighthouse located southwest of Silver Bay, Minnesota, USA on the North Shore of Lake Superior. The structure was designed by lighthouse engineer Ralph Russell Tinkham and was completed in 1910 by the United States Lighthouse Service. It is considered one of the most picturesque lighthouses in the United States. Split Rock Lighthouse was built in response to the great loss of ships during the famous Mataafa Storm of 1905, in which 29 ships were lost on Lake Superior. One of these shipwrecks, the Madeira, is located just north of the lighthouse

Moulton Barn at Mormon Row on a rainy autumn day in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

In 1890, Mormon settlers (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) arrived to establish new communities east of the Blacktail Butte in Wyoming. Named Grovant by the US post office, today it's known as the Mormon Row. Despite harsh conditions homesteaders established 27 homesteads in the area. Mormon Row was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997 as a Historic District.
Photographers from around the world travel to photograph this iconic structures with Teton mountain range in the background. I however have yet to see one taken in such a rainy autumn day as when this image was taken from inside a car. This is the T.A. Moulton Barn
