Five-year-old Denise Holmes and her sister Nicola, two, now have a windmill at the bottom of their garden at Littlehampton, Sussex. It was made as a play house for them by their father, carpenter Victor Holmes, who used wood from an old fence that had to be taken down. The girls are now waiting for their father to make some furniture, scaled to match the eight-foot-high mill.

Waiters, chefs and kitchen hands at Londons Savoy hotel went on strike early today

Waiters, chefs and kitchen hands at London's Savoy hotel went on strike early today, it was decided that tables were to be left bare and underserviced in the private suites, restaurant and Grill room. Tickets has been detailed to guard every staff door and the taxi driver in entrance to warn the catering staff of the strike. The strikers are members of the London catering branch of the general and municipal workers union who claimed that 500 of the total staff of 800 are now in the union. The strike committee said "we have been forced to take this action after every other avenue of approach has been closed by the management."

Laguna de los Peces (Fish Lagoon) is a lagoon located in the municipality of Galende of the province of Zamora (Castilla y Leon, Spain).Located in the region of Sanabria, is a lagoon mountain glacier that is located at an altitude of 1, 707 m, height requiring him to spend the late fall, winter and early frost spring and surroundings covered of snow. It is located in the vicinity of Lake Sanabria and belongs to the protected Sanabria Lake Natural Park space.The Sanabria Lake Natural Park is a Spanish nature reserve, located in the northwest corner of the province of Zamora (Castilla y LeA?n), in the foothills of the Sierras and Cabrera Segundera.The origin of this natural area is located in the coldest phases of the Quaternary, when the glaciers Sanabria conditions that significantly affected the modeling of the mountains were established. During this period, the limit of perpetual snow settled around 1, 600 m above sea level, which allowed during the WAOErm glaciation in the highlands of the Sierra, heavy accumulations of snow and ice were established, causing a glacier plateau or cap. It diverged long, powerful tongues of ice encased in previous river valleys. 10, 000 years ago the ice age ended and the glacier tongue retreated leaving large bare and deep valleys, glacial cirques, fleecy rocks, glacial striations, moraines, lake and more than 20 lakes scattered throughout the mountains.This natural area was declared a natural park in 1978 and in 2015 was declared a transboundary biosphere reserve by UNESCO
