Cory Environmental, a subsidiary of Exel, is one of the UK's leading recycling and waste management companies. It is one of the best recycling centres in the country and has achieved a 77% recycling rate - an increase of 200% since 2002. It operates in over 30 locations throughout the country, providing expert services in the collection, recycling and disposal of waste as well as municipal cleansing. The company manages in excess of 3.5 million tonnes of waste and recyclables each year and operates 11 waste facilities throughout Gloucestershire. Gloucestershire County Council's Wingmoor Farm Household Recycling Centre (HRC) seen here has just been crowned Civic Amenity Site of the Year in recognition of its exemplary recycling performance. The Wingmoor HRC site recycles glass, cans, paper, cardboard, batteries, foil, fluorescent tubes, oil, green waste & fridges.
