Digging in... Parents and pupils at Flockton CofE First School are seen with spades and trowels at the ready to continue their work on bulb and tree planting. They are (from left): Sarah Prest, Mrs Patricia Watson, Mrs Kathryn McGuire and Daniel Moorhouse. Kneeling: Dairy Marsden and Julie Taylor. Three flower beds have been created and parents come into the school every week to help with various gardening jobs. Recently the youngsters took part in Tree Watch where they adopted a tree and watched its progress. This latest project to improve the school grounds and make them look attractive follows on from their efforts in the Pride In Huddersfield campaign. 17th October 1988
