This enchanting photograph captures a precious moment in the lives of Alice Liddell, her sisters Lorina and Edith, as they frolic in a garden, rekindling memories of their childhood adventures in the late 19th century. The sisters, who were the inspiration for Lewis Carroll's beloved character Alice in "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," are seen here in 1934, many years after the publication of the iconic novel.
