Asian Badger Collection

The Asian Badger (Mustelidae) is a species of mammal in the Mustelidae family, and is found throughout much of East and Southeast Asia, including China, Japan, Korea, and parts of Russia, stocky body with short legs and long claws for digging. Its fur is usually grayish-brown with white stripes on its head and back. It feeds mainly on small mammals such as mice and voles, but also eats birds, eggs, insects, reptiles and amphibians. The Asian Badger lives in burrows or dens that it digs itself or takes over from other animals such as foxes or rabbits, and is an active hunter during the night but will also scavenge during the day if food is scarce, and are solitary animals that live alone except when they mate or raise their young together in a den until they are old enough to leave their parents' care.
