The Duchess of Albany with her grandchildren.
The Duchess of Albany, formerly Princess Helena of Waldeck-Pyrmont (1861-1922), and wife of Prince Leopold, pictured in 1910 with her grandchildren. Although she was married to Leopold for barely two years, she mourned him for nearly forty. Three of the six children grouped with her here belonged to her daughter, Princess Alice of Albany, Countess of Athlone and three are her son's, Charles Edward, Duke of Albany and Saxe-Coburg: they are, from the left, Prince Rupert of Teck (Alice's son), Princess Sibylla of Saxe-Coburg (Charlie's daughter), Prince Johann Leopold of Saxe-Coburg, Prince Maurice of Teck (Maurice died on a family visit to Coburg when he was six months old), Prince Hubertus of Saxe-Coburg and Princess May of Teck.
