The image captures the daring and clandestine escape of Saul of Tarsus, who would later become the renowned apostle Paul, following his transformative encounter with Jesus Christ. A mysterious figure, later revealed to be Ananias, approached and restored Saul's sight, revealing to him the truth of Jesus Christ and the mission he was now called to fulfill. This momentous event marked the beginning of St. Paul's new life as an apostle, spreading the teachings of Christianity throughout the Mediterranean world. The risky escape from Damascus, where he had been hunted as an enemy, was just the beginning of his incredible journey.
