: The imposing ruins from the gateway of Raglan castle, Monmouthshire (now in Wales). The castle, a combination of 15th century Mediaeval and Tudor architecture, was the last in England to surrender to the Roundheads during the Civil War, after which it was 'slighted' to prevent its futher use.
