There has been a 300% increase in demand for such erstwhile models as the Porsche 911 and the Lotus Esprit, according to online cars' search company Fish4cars. Other vehicles now in hot demand include the Volkswagen Golf GTi, the Sierra Cosworth and the DeLorean which featured in the film Back to the Future. Of the DeLorean, with its distinctive gull wing doors, Russell Scott of Fish4cars said: The bad news is that they are rare and you'll need to be patient until one comes up for sale..
