Culvert and contractor's wagons at Birstall, Leicester

This photograph was taken around 1897 at a brick culvert near Greengate Lane, Birstall. Written on the side of the wagons laden with hardcore is the name of the contractor who built this section of the Line: Henry Lovatt & Co. of Wolverhampton.
