Brick arch bridge nearing completion at Whetstone

Almost completed, this is the imposing brick arch underbridge that carried the Last Main Line across the Whetstone to Littlethorpe road in Leicestershire. Just visible crossing the road in front of the bridge's long straight wing walls is a line of contractor's temporary railway.
