PERINGUEY S DESERT ADDER - hidden in sand, showing lure.
TD-165 PERINGUEY S DESERT ADDER - hidden in sand, showing lure. Namib desert, Namibia. Africa Bitis peringuey This is a mildly poisonous sidewinder adder that shuffles completely in to the fine sand of the Namib Desert, perfectly camouflaged to await prey leaving only its eyes exposed which are situated on top of its rounded, flat head, and sometimes its black tail tip which it waves to attract lizards as a lure.
