Michael Howard, the Conservative party leader meets a wellwisher during his visit to the Sangat community centre in Keighley, West Yorkshire. Labour have launched a renewed assault on Mr Howard to mark the first anniversary of his appointment as Tory leader. Ministers claimed Mr Howard's lack of judgment during his first year at the helm showed he was unfit to be Prime Minister. Labour's general election co-ordinator Alan Milburn said the story of Mr Howard's leadership was one of strategic misjudgments which had taken the Tory Party backwards.
